A 30-year-old suspected cultist, Onyeka Ozoh has been arrested by Police operatives from the Issele-Uku Division in Delta State.
The Police also recovered a red coloured Toyota Camry without a registration number from the suspect who was said to be hiding in the community.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident in a statement.
According to the Police Image maker, “The suspect claimed that he bought the vehicle at Onitsha at the cost of one million, five hundred thousand naira (#1,500,000) and that all original documents were with the previous owner.
“However, investigations later revealed that the vehicle belongs to a man (name withheld) who was kidnapped on 20/8/2022 at Ozubulu in Anambra State and released after a ransom was paid and the vehicle taken from him.
“Suspect will be transferred to Anambra Police Command for further investigation.”
