The Nigeria Police Force has hinted that the force would go after more pranksters over outrageous pranks.
The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) Olumuyiwa Adejobi(CSP) dropped the hint on Tuesday night while condemning a viral skits.
He warned that nemesis would soon catch up with extravagant pranksters.
He shared a skit where a prankster released a dog on a commuter who chased him to his compound after he flogged him while on bike.
FPRO said, “You see am? If he’s arrested now, many will still be attacking the police, that it’s a business. Imagine… anyway, every day for the thief, a day for the owner. Make em dey do am dey go.”
Recall that an Oyo-based skit maker, Trinity Guy, was arrested last month over “immoral skit” after series of warnings from the police regarding his extreme trick videos.
He was consequently arraigned and remanded by an Oyo State Magistrate Court sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, over alleged sexual exploitation of a 10-year-old minor.
