A yet-to-be-identified man putting on campaign T-shirt of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi was on Wednesday attacked in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Although information about the attack is still sketchy, but a trending video showed the victim being manhandlded and interrogated by the hoodlums after being pushed out of his car along the road.
A background voice was heard ordering one of the hoodlums to burst the four tyres of the victim’s red Toyota Camry, which he immediately did.
The voice also warned Nigerians against putting on any campaign material on their body, stressing that non-compliance with the order was dangerous.
Police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga said he did not have any information on the incident.
