…the deceased is said to be President General of Obosi community
A middle-aged man was on Monday reportedly shot dead by yet to be identified gunmen in Obosi Community, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The deceased, said to be President General of the community, Hon Ike Okolo was shot dead in a fuel station in the area at about 5pm.
A viral video showed the deceased was shot inside his SUV car, by the gunmen who left him in a pool of his own blood, behind the car steering.
Although the killers of the deceased was yet to be identified, but a source said the killing might not be unconnected with cult related clashes, a development the deceased had reportedly stood against since he ascended to office.
The police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga is yet to react to the development as at press time.
