Nigeria popular actress, Funke Akindele Bello has revealed the true state of health of her colleague, Eniola Badmus, confirming she is not dead as circulated around.
It was gathered that as at late Tuesday night that the actress was shot dead at Lekki toll gate where #EndSARS protesters were killed by soldiers of the Nigerian Army.
However, a Twitter user @Moyosoreoluwae who is close to her family revealed that Eniola Badmus is not dead as rumoured.
She tweeted: “I have contacted someone around Eniola Badmus. She is home and well, please. Quit this news going round! I have taken so many calls that almost made me pass out!!!!
“In case you still want proof. Here is one of the conversations I had to confirm Eniola Badmus’s safety,“ she tweeted.
However, when Punch contacted her via the telephone, Eniola Badmus’ number was busy, which made the newspaper to resort to contacting her close friend, Funke Akindele-Bello who confirmed that Badmus is ‘fine and in her house.’
Funke Akindele Bello said, “Eniola is in her house, she is fine. Her line is busy and I guess that is why you had to call me. She is very well. I do not know if she was at the protest today but as I talk to you, Eniola is in her house,”
