Hope for safety went high on Tuesday when Members of a vigilante group caught two hoodlums while trying to break into people’s shops in Benin City, Edo State.
It was gathered that members of the community vigilante group spotted the 4-man gang seen trying to burgle some shops in Adolor area, opposite the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) during the curfew hours.
It was also gathered that two were caught while the other two managed to escape.
The Edo State government imposed a 24- hour curfew in the state after suspected hoodlums attacked two correctional facilities and freed several inmates from the cells.
