COVID 19: MGG distributes over 1000 face mask in Anambra

Appoints ICT/Media Directorate team

ANAMBRA, Awka,

In line with the Anambra State Government’s directives and measures of preventing the dreaded COVID 19 pandemic, a group, Movement for Good Governance (MGG) Anambra state chapter has distributed free face masks to the populace within Awka, the state’s capital.

THE DAILY VENDOR correspondent said the group distributed over 1000 pieces of face masks to the people.

Speaking shortly after the exercise, the Director General of MGG World Wide, Dr Patrick Enuneku stated that the group is committed to promoting peaceful coexistence and applying safety measures against corona virus disease.

He equally advised the public to stay safe by adhering strictly to the preventive measures against the pandemic which he prayed for its end in no distant time.

Our correspondent who was on-ground during the exercise said beneficiaries were elated as they received the face masks.

Three beneficiaries who simply gave their names as Chioma, Emeka and Ugochukwu, while speaking to our correspondent thanked the group for their benevolence and prayed God to bless them abundantly.

Meanwhile, in another development, the group announced the appointment of its ICT and Media Directorate in Anambra state. The new appointees were charged with the responsibility of propagating all the groups functions on social media, and other publicity channels.

The five-man team is headed by Comrade Uchenna Ezeadigwe (Chairman), and Michael Ovat (Co-Chairman), Ugochukwu Joseph (Secretary), Ebeze Prince Peter(Member), Nwafor Chimezie (Member).
