BREAKING: IGP posts new Police Commissioners to Adamawa, Imo, Plateau

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the immediate posting of new Police Commissioners to Imo, Adamawa, and Plateau States.

This was contained in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, DCP Frank Mba, on Tuesday.

According to Mba, “Those affected are CPs Olugbenga Adeyanju, who heads to Adamawa State; Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede, Imo State; and Edward Chuka Egbuka, Plateau State.

“CP Audu Adamu Madaki, (non-State Command posting) he heads the Force Criminal Investigation Department at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.”

 “While enjoining the citizens of the affected States to accord the CPs maximum support and cooperation, the IGP charges the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors.

“The postings are with immediate effect,” the statement read.
