The greatest of all times (GOAT) and Manchester United out of favour hitman, Cristiano Ronaldo, says he was happy to beat Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain shirt sales when he returned to Old Trafford.
The Manchester star said this on Wednesday night.
Piers had told the Portuguese: “Two things happened within 24 hours of you re-signing for [Manchester] United.
“One, you broke the all-time record for shirt sales in 24 hours… you actually beat a guy called Messi, you must have been happy about that?”
He replied: “Of course, I’m happy [laughs].
“As you know, I don’t follow the records, the records follow me. Another one in my book.”
