Panic as COVID19 positive toll hits 1337 in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed sixty-four (64) new cases of #COVID19.

The latest development shoots the total number of COVID19 active cases in the country as at April 27 to 1337, THE DAILY VENDOR reports.

The NCDC latest release showed that, of the 64 new cases, Lagos continued to record higher number of cases.

NCDC says 34 cases were recorded in Lagos, 15 in FCT, 11in Borno, 2 in Taraba, and 2 in Gombe.

“As at 11:20pm 27th April 1337 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 255 Deaths: 40,” NCDC said on its Twitter handle.

“One case previously reported as a Lagos State case, is now reported as an FCT case The total number of confirmed cases in Lagos is now at 764 and 157 in FCT,”
