Kano State has surpassed Lagos State in daily confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Nigeria.
This is according to the breakdown of cases recorded on Thursday which the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) released on its Twitter handle late Thursday.
According to the centre, Nigeria recorded a total of 204 fresh cases on Thursday and Kano State accounted for 80, while Lagos which usually accounts for the highest daily recorded cases accounted for 45 of the total number.
THE DAILY VENDOR reports that in the breakdown released by the NCDC for Tuesday and Wednesday Lagos recorded 80 and 87 fresh cases respectively, while Kano recorded 38 and 24 cases.
