LANDIKOTAL: Compensation cheques distributed among the families who lost their near and dears one in the recent flash floods and heavy rain devastation in Landikotal on Monday.
Assistant Commissioner of Landikotal Irshad Ali Mohmand told our correspondent that on the directiives of deputy commissioner Abdul Nasir Khan they handed over Rs,1 million cheques to each to heirs of those who killed in last week flood in Charvagh village and Loey Shalman in Landikotal.
He said they would also issue compensation amount who suffered meterial losses in heavy rain. He said they have sent flood damages data to Provincial Disaster management Authority(PDMA) and other concern departments to start their relief abd rehabilitation process as soos as possible.
It may be added here that dozens of houses and rooms completely destroyed and partially damaged while two vehicles were also washed away in flash floods in various areas of Landikotal tehsil in the recent floods.
