Report coming from Anambra has it that 17 persons escaped death in a multiple auto crash involving three vehicles on the Nkpor/Umuoji road in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Mr Pascal Anigbo, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Public Enlightenment Officer for Anambra State confirmed the crash.
He said the crash involved a red Mitsubishi bus with registration number JJT920ZW, a white Hummer bus without registration number and a truck marked KPE686XA.
Anigbo said the crash was as a result of wrong overtaking.
He said 10 males and seven females were involved in the crash while seven persons were injured.
“The Mitsubishi bus did a wrong overtaking and collided with an oncoming bus and the two buses collided with a truck. “The injured victims had been taken to Crown Hospital Nkpor,” Anigbo said.
