14 Year-old girl commits suicide in Nasarawa

Covid-19 related tragedy occurred today as a fourteen year old girl, Anita Ibrahim committed suicide.

Anita who became pregnant during the five months lock down due to the Covid19, drank herbicide on Tuesday at Angwan Doruwa in Andaha, Akwanga, Nasarawa state.

A family source told The DAILY VENDOR in Akwanga that Anita’s travail started when she got pregnant by her teenage boyfriend and got bashed by her father.

The family source added that the stigmatized status could have led to her unpleasant action.
