As backdrop of the allegation leveled against Senate President Senator Goodwill Akpabio by  Senator Elisha Abbo that Akpabio is planning to use the Court to remove  former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu from the Senate, a group known Orji Uzor Kalu  (OUK) Grassroots Movement has issued stern warning that any attempt to remove Senator Kalu from the Senate through a kangaroo judgement in Court won’t be tolerated.

Recall that Senator Abbo from Adamawa Central Senatorial District was removed by Court of Appeal yesterday reacting which he alleged that Senator Akpabio masterminded his removal for not supporting Akpabio to become Senate President adding that Akpabio is also planning to do the same thing to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and others

Reacting to the allegation, the OUK Movement warned that any attempt to remove the former Abia Governor representing the Abia North Senatorial District who was cleanly elected for a second term in the Senate through a kangaroo judgement in Court of Appeal will be resisted with a mass protest nationwide and there’s will be no end to the protest as the will unleash the members of the association  in all the States across the federation

Convener and National leader of the group Alhaji Muritala Mohammed alias Ten Ten said  the good people of Abia North duly reelected Senator Kalu for a second tenure following his great performance in his first term in the Senate and the election petition tribunal validated his victory, therefore any attempt to use Appeal Court against the mandate of the good people Abia North Senatorial District won’t be tolerated.

“Our attention has been drawn to the alleged plan to use the Court of Appeal to remove Orji Uzor Kalu from the Senate and we are not taking it lightly, so we are calling on whosoever is concerned to make sure that the mandate given to Orji Uzor Kalu by his constituents to represent them in the Senateis is not tampered with” the convener added.
