3 convicted for gang raping 15-year old student in Sonarpur

A 15-year old class IX girl was reportedly gang raped around the Sonarpur Police station area, near Kolkata in 2015. Three suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.    The girl's family had lodged an FIR against the three youths, all residents of her locality, following which they were arrested.  Judge Umesh Singh of the Alipore Special Pokso Court on Monday convicted them all.
