The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Samuel Ortom (PDP) as the Governor of Benue State.
In an unanimous judgment delivered by the seven-man panel, Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour upheld Ortom’s victory.
The Apex Court’s verdict was in concurrent with the earlier judgement of the Election Petition Tribunal and Appeal Court.
Justice Sylvester Ngwuta remarked that the appellant’s plea lacked merit.
