President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, asked his Ministers to arrange any requests to have a meeting with him through his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.
The President made this known on Tuesday, while addressing ministers, aides and other top appointees at the first-year ministerial performance review retreat, in Abuja.
Buhari also said all Federal Executive Council (FEC), matters should be directed to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
“Let me also reiterate that all submissions for my attention or meeting requests should be channelled through the Chief of Staff.
“While all federal Executive council matters should be coordinated through the secretary to the government of the federation,” the President said.
The DAILY VENDOR recalls that the President had earlier issued such directives to ministers. In 2019, President Buhari had asked ministers, aides and other appointees of his to submit such requests through his former Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari.
