PESHAWAR: The son of a Tribal Elder identified as Akbar Jan was killed when he was attacked with an Improvised Explosive Device exploded in Sara Ghora area of Azam Warsak in Lower Waziristan district on Monday,sources said.
They said that Akbar Jan was on way to home on a motorcycle when the roadside bomb was exploded.
Local officials also confirmed the incident in Sara Ghora in Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan Lower District.
Akbar Jan alias Barjak Darikhel Wazir was the son of late Malik Shireen Jan Darikhel,the local tribals tribe.
It may be added here that after 9/11 the victims family has rendered many sacrifices in the war against terrorism so far.
The late Malik Shireen Jan played an important role in expelling the Uzbak, Chechan and foreign terrorists from the area.It was learnt that still the family paying the price of locality with Pakistan and its security forces.
The family head was known as an important figure for the played vital role for peace in the region.
