Muslim community commends Soludo on peace in Anambra

The Muslim community at Oba, a densely populated town in Idemli South Local Government Area of Anambra State has commended the governor of the Light of the Nation State Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for what they described as Soludo’s laudable efforts to restore peace in the State. 

The Muslims who gave the commendation during the Friday Jumma’t prayer at Rojenny Central Mosque inside Rojenny Games village Oba also prayed for consolidation of the existing peace in the State assuring that they will always pray for peace in Anambra State in particular and Nigeria in general during their gathering in the Mosque. 

The presiding Immam of the Mosque Alhaji Mohammed Tukur who spoke to journalists shortly after the prayer explained that Muslims in Oba and its environs are enjoying peace as well as lovely relationship from the host community adding they are comfortable and happy as residents doing business in Oba and its environs

Alhaji Tukur showered praises on the proprietor of Rojenny Games Village, Oba Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) over what he described as Ezeonwuka’s support for the development of Islam at Oba in particular and Anambra State in general pointing out that Ezeonwuka has boosted Islam with his position as Igbo leader and in providing material aids. 

Corroborating Alhaji Tukur the deputy Immam, Alfar Suleiman Ayodele described Ezeonwuka as the father of the Muslim community in Oba who is taking good care of Muslins like a father is taking care of his children adding that the Muslim community are inspired to feel at home in Oba and its environs courtesy of the fatherly role of the Ogilisi Igbo.
