Anambra monarch pledges support to Corps Members’ Community Development Projects

Traditional Ruler of Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State, Igwe Innocent Obodoakor has pledged to support community development projects embarked on by Corps Members posted to his area of jurisdiction.

Obodoakor who made the pledge while hosting the Charity and Gender Community Development group in his palace recalled many laudable projects executed by  previous Corps Members in his community.

He asserted that those projects have remained indelible in the minds of his people.

The royal father, who doubles as the Ezedinobi 111 of Agulu autonomous community added that he had always identified with corps members especially in their community development efforts and would help mobilize philanthropists who would raise funds for their projects.

He urged them to remain law abiding and relate in a positive manner with the members of his community.

Earlier, President of the CDS group, Mr. Isaac Oriaklhi said they were in the palace to present the blue print of their community development projects for his community for his approval and blessing.

He outlined the projects to include: organizing skills acquisition training for the youth; sensitizing secondary school students on the need to access health facilities whenever they are ill as well as taking preventive measures against common diseases. 

He equally said the group was poised to regularly visit the orphanage in the area to show them love.

The Local Government Inspector of Anaocha, Mrs Anulika Ayiba accompanied the corps members to the palace of the royal father.
