Anambra Civil Society Network (ACSONET), a foremost citizen stakeholders group has applauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Anambra State government on the recent multiple awards secured at the National Innovation and Digital Economy Council Meeting.

The event saw Anambra State achieving outstanding success by winning four eminent awards during the ICT peer review session at the 11th National Council on Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy (NCCIDE) meeting convened in Kano.

Anambra State claimed four prestigious awards as the Overall Best State in Digital Technology Development, First Position for Best State in Digital Infrastructure Technology Development, and First Runner-up in e-Government Implementation as well as in Digital Technology Human Capital Development.

“Youth empowerment recently received a big boost with 5,000 beneficiaries of 1 youth 2 skills empowered with seed grants in the tune of N2bn. And sundry governance initiatives,” he added.

The group offered to partner and collaborate with Soludo’s government in upholding good governance practices for sustainable development of the State
