Anambra State government has announced Thursday, March 14, 2024 as date for mock examination of the Transition Placement Examination to be set by individual schools in the State.
Commissioner for Education, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh disclosed this during a meeting she held with leaders of private schools association in the Conference hall of the Ministry of Education, Jerome Udoji Secretariate Complex Awka.
She said the essence of the mock examination was for schools to assess and get satisfied that the candidates they presented for the Transition Placement Examination had achieved literacy and numeracy at the level of their presentation.
“All schools, including the public, mission and private are to participate in this examination. They should set, mark and send their results to Examinations Development Center,” she added.
