The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Anambra State has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of the 71st Birthday Anniversary.
The party also congratulated co-founder of Action Congress (AC), on the heels of attaining the historical title of Last Man Standing, as well as President Muhammadu Buhari for working towards and getting a worthy successor.
The party, through its Publicity Secretary, Okelo Madukaife however solicited for a balanced government in which the Southeast which out-performed every other party in the zone, sponsored a competent Senate President, nominated by its caucus and acceptable to all senators.
The statement reads, “We seize the momentous occasion of the 71st Birthday Anniversary of Nigeria’s President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, _Jagaban Borgu_, to speak new life, new wisdom, new ideas and new vive into him and into a new era in Nigeria.
“We renew our congratulations to the co-founder of Action Congress (AC), on the heels of attaining the historical title of *Last Man Standing*, after the evil hurricane of current political pretenders swept away the wish of the people in 2003.
“We salute the master strategist and trail blazer in forensic evidence at Nigerian Election Tribunals for leading the struggle to recover Edo, Ekiti and Osun States from the bossom of moral abyss.
“We congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari for working towards and getting a worthy successor, as we congratulate All Progressives Congress (APC), for breasting the tape successfully in executive and legislative elections.
We look forward, in the Tinubu Administration, to an emphatic transformation with clear successes in security, education and an expanded economy that makes nonsense of the expression ‘visa ban’, even as we expect consolidation of the gains of the Buhari Administration in foreign relations.
