Arrangements have almost been concluded by Veterinary Institution Registration Committee (VIRC) in conjunction with Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) for a one day stakeholders workshop in Awka, Anambra State.
A statement by Chairman of VIRC, Dr Basil Ejidike Rose Chinyelu revealed that the workshop will hold on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 by 10am at ADP Hall, Ministry of Agriculture, Awka.
The Chairman,who doubles as Director of Veterinary Services, Ministry of Agriculture listed those invited for the workshop to include Importers of Veterinary Products, Wholesalers of Veterinary Products, veterinary premises owners.
Others are, Animal Security Outfits and all Veterinary Doctors practicing in the state.
“The forum is intended to sensitize members on registration of Veterinary Practicing Premises and other matters affecting the practice of veterinary services in the state,” she added.
