Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Awka, Anambra State has disclosed its plans to hold a special edition of the 2023 Church Missionary Society (CMS) Anniversary of the Anglican Church.
The chairman, Planning Committee, Mr. Godson Okafor said the event, scheduled for Thursday, July 27 at the church premises would feature quiz competitions for children and youths as well as special lecture on CMS on Wednesday 26.
“There will also be visit to St. Faith Orphanage where prayers and gift items would be offered to the children in the home earlier on the anniversary day.
“The event proper will witness cutting of anniversary cake, other side attractions as well as eating and winning by members of the congregation,” he said.
The Vicar of the church, Rev. Azubuike Mgbike, while assuring of a memorable time in God’s presence, urged parishioners to invite their friends, families members and well-wishers to join in the celebration.
