Nurture your children to secure a better society – AIG urges Cops wives 

Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 13, Headquarters, Ukpo, Anambra State, AIG Godwin Aghaulor has encouraged Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) to put in more efforts in nurturing their children to become responsible citizens in order to secure a better society.

Aghaulor who gave charge while hosting Executive Members of POWA Zone 13 ahead of their forth coming inaugural meeting called on them to always play their expected roles to spur their spouses to do more in the quest to secure a bright future for young generation.

He pledged to address some of their challenges, including provision of an office for them as well as other support services to ensure the association functioned effectively.

The AIG called for regular interactions with the association to chart way forward and identify areas of support and encouragements.

Earlier, Chairperson of POWA Zone 13 Headquarters, Lady Chinasa Solome Godwin said the visit was to appreciate and intimate the AIG on the forthcoming inaugural meeting of the association.

She thanked the AIG for the support and cooperation he has given the association, emphasizing the need to strengthen existing relationships.

Some of the Executive Members of the Association including Mrs Nneka Ben-Eke and Mrs Jane Francis Obi appreciated the AIG for assisting them, while expressing optimism for a more robust working relationship.

DCP Operation, Ozigi Umoru, DCA, Admin, Joseph Agili, DCP Zonal CID, Muhu Umar and CSP-PSO, Prince Ugochukwu Ezejiofor were present at the meeting which featured presentation of gifts to the AIG and other Officers.
