Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye has assured men of fire service in the State of adequate protection from mob attack during fire outbreaks.
The CP gave the assurance while hosting Director/Fire Chief, Anambra State Fire Service, Engr. Dr. Martin Agbili who was at the Police Command Headquarters, Amawbia on familiarization visit.
Adeoye also promised better synergy and regular open door to firemen in the State.
“I want to assure you of better synergy and protection of your men on duty with all Police resources and structure in the State.
“I also promise open door to firemen at all times,” he said.
Earlier, Fire Chief Agbili said his visit to the Police Command was to revalidate the synergy between the Police and the Fire Service in the State as well as protection of Firemen from angry mobs ahead of dry season.
“I am here on a 2-agenda visit, namely to revalidate the synergy between the Police and the Anambra State Fire Service and the protection of the Firemen from angry mobs on the fire especially now we are entering dry season,” he said.
