Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, has described sports as very important aspect of the psychomotor domain for the promotion of healthy living.
Addressing 2024 festival of Inter house sports competition at the Igwebike Grammar School Awka, Prof Chuma-Udeh commended the Principal, staff and students of the school for success of the event through which hidden talents were discovered.
The commissioner who used the occasion to showcase to the students, some medals she won in her youthful sporting activities, encouraged the students to always participate in sports to always keep fit.
Earlier, Principal of Igwebike Grammar School Awka, Mr Jovita Arazu appreciated Governor Chukwuma Soludo for providing qualified teachers and making quality education affordable in the State.
He thanked Commissioner Chuma-Udeh, the Ministry of Education, PPSSC and ASUBEB for driving the education process in the State.
