Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu is a medical doctor who has been in practice for the past 27 years. Despite her conservative profession, the first lady of Lagos State is not found wanting in the style department – her fashion taste is top notch.

A mother of four, she has a very shy but contagious smile. Little wonder her presence beside her husband, Babajide, usually gives him an unmistakable glow.

Her unwavering support for her husband, especially during his campaign, is an amazing feat that should be emulated. That is why His Excellency recently took to Twitter to appreciate his sweet wife and children.

Tamunominini Makinde

Married for over 22 years to the governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Seyi Makinde, the beautiful Tamunominini has a double honours BBA/MBA (with First Class) from Thomas University, Houston, Texas, in the United States of America. Popularly called Omini, she is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s most elegant female engineers.

In her forties, her style is vibrant and fresh. A lover of classy fashion items, she favours clothes that amplify her style.

Bamidele Abiodun

With a figure that belies her age, the first lady of Ogun State, Bamidele Abiodun’s ageless looks make her easily noticed. However, she is reserved and has been described as almost shy.

On the fashion side though, she is very bold and assertive. Her love for headgear is unparalleled and she has them in numerous eye-catching colours to match her lovely outfits.

So chic and fit, the mother of five, who lost her first son, Olugbenga Abiodun, aka DJ Olu, a friend of pop star, Davido, two years ago, can pass for a lady in her twenties.

Ebere Ihedioha

Mrs. Ebere Ihedioha is the beautiful wife of Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha. She has proved over time that there is much more to her than a pretty face as she was very proactive during her husband’s campaign to be governor.

She is not only gorgeous; she also carries herself with class and grace. Clearly not a novice in the style department, this mother of four wears top-of-the-range clothes and accessories. Blessed with a graceful aura, she glows to the delight of all.

Kafayat Oyetola

Kafayat Oyetola is the first lady of Osun State. Blessed with children and grandchildren, she adorns herself with beautiful clothes that sit well on her frame. She stood solidly behind her husband during his campaign and even went back and forth with his major opponent, Ademola Adeleke, of the Peoples Democratic Party, as regards the authenticity of the election results.

Not only is she a great motivation for her husband, her style is also impeccable, perhaps owing to her nice figure which seems to breathe life into everything she puts on.

Ummi Gaidam

Not much is known about the third wife of Governor Mala Buni of Yobe State, Ummi (nee Gaidam), who coincidentally is the daughter of the immediate past governor of the state, Ibrahim Gaidam, who Buni succeeds. The new governor got married to the beautiful Ummi barely 24 hours after his swearing-in as the new Yobe State helmsman.

Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi

Olufolake Abdulrazaq

An experienced professional, the first lady of Kwara State is all shades of beauty. Born with a silver spoon into the prominent Davies family of Lagos, her late father, Hezekiah Davies, was a trained journalist and prolific writer.

Not just one with a pretty face, she has got a first-class brain too. She beautifies herself with exquisite clothes and accessories. She also wears lovely and unique glasses that give her the look of a boss.

Olufolake is presently the minister/head of consular, education and welfare, at the Nigeria High Commission in London.
