…says he has not stopped playing music since he was employed in the health institution 14years ago
A music artiste and staff of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, Anambra State, Comrade Benneth Odoh has continued to daze his audience with his outstanding singing performance in a hospital environment.
He has always been on hand to perform each time NAUTH had any event that required entertainment.
What is more captivating about Odoh is that while on stage you would mistake him for a full-time musician of many years of experience.
Speaking briefly with The Daily Vendor during the health institution’s 2022 end-of-year and thanksgiving ceremony, Odoh said since 14years ago he was employed in the health institution, he had not stopped playing music due to passion he has for the career.
Odoh, a native of Ehamufu in Enugu State and Senior staff at the Admin Department of NAUTH said he already had eleven albums to his credit.
He said, “The name of this band is Jigidem International Band, NAUTH, Nnewi. I started my musical career before I was employed in NAUTH. Since I got employed, it hasn’t stopped me from doing my job perfectly well. I have passion for music.
“Jigidem is he title of my first album released in 2002 and I now have eleven albums to my credit including “Omnipotent God.”
“I’m from Ehamufu in Enugu State. I have been working in NAUTH for the past fourteen years and I will continue to put in my best both in music and in the civil service.”
