We’re behind your leadership – Ohanaeze youths assure Iwuanyanwu

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide, has passed vote of confidence on the leadership of Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as the President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.

The youths also reaffirmed their resolve and commitment to end “Sit at Home” in Southeast.

Rising from crucial meeting of its National Executive Committee (NEC) with Iwuanyanwu in Owerri Imo State, the group also endorsed appointment of Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu as its Acting National Youth Leader pending due process of electing substantive National Youth Leader from Ebonyi State.

In a statement by National Publicity Secretary, Mazi Chika Art Adiele, the group further condemned activities of certain mischief makers parading themselves and making unfounded and unruly statement in the name of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, warning them to desist forthwith.

The statement reads in part, “We pass a vote of confidence, solidarity and support to the Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide led by His Excellency Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu OFR MFR CFR- President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide; for the promising efforts so far and other convincing New Agenda for visible and sustainable development and economic growth of the Igbo Nation. We therefore pledge absolute allegiance and fealty.

“We reaffirm our resolve and commitment to end “Sit at Home” in South East, as a matter of peculier regional concerns ranging from Violence, Insecurity and Economic decadence.

“We commend all efforts towards mitigating these challenges, and shall not rest on our oars until Peace and Security is restored in South East and Nigeria at large.

“We acknowledge and appreciate the necessity of Unity and Sincerity of purpose for the success and progress of any given polity.

“Therefore, all hands must be on deck in order to ensure that Ndigbo across the globe shall continue to give Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide every necessary support in all matters of National & international importance, especially as it concerns Ala-Igbo.

“Amongst other things, we unanimously endorsed the appointment of Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu as the Acting National Youth Leader of Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide, pending the due process of electing a substantive National Youth Leader from Ebonyi State.

“We condemn in Strong terms, the activities of some mischief makers who parade themselves and make unfounded and unruly statement in the name of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.

“We admonish such perpetrators to desist forthwith as any attempt by any individual or interest group in this regard shall henceforth be appropriately sanctioned by Ohanaeze Ndigbo Wings – Popular organs.

“We adopt total implementations of the declared vision and mission of the Chief Engr. Emmanuel C. Iwuanyanwu, OFR MFR, CFR led Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide on Security, Economic growth and Developments in Ala-Igbo, Nigeria and Africa in general.

“We therefore urge every well meaning Nigerian to align with the above resolution.”
