A strange incident took place in Karnataka, a state in southwest India with Arabian Sea coastlines. The capital, Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore), is a high-tech hub known for its shopping and nightlife.
Residents of the Kathsandra-Batawari area of Tumkur in Karnataka were thrown into a state of discomfort on Thursday morning after they discovered alarming amount of used condoms scattered on the road.
It was a puzzle as to where so many used condoms came from and scattered across the street.
The Daily Vendor Newspaper reporter who filed the report said “There are rows and rows of condoms spread over a long area on National Road No. 48 in that area. Where did it come from? No one knows. The administration has no good answer either.”
A few pictures have gone viral on social media todaye where it can be seen, rows and rows of condoms are lying along the Kathsandra-Batawari connecting road on National Highway No. 48 in Tumkur, Karnataka.
The locals saw the scene on the way back and forth. Many people are suddenly stopping in that area. They are complaining to the administration.
According to the locals, no action is being taken even after informing the administration. No steps have yet been taken to remove those condoms. The question is, where did so many condoms come from in that area? None of the locals can explain it. When contacted again, the local administration could not provide any information.
According to the administration, they do not know anything about this. Notably that most of the condoms are not used. That has also added to the mystery. Some of the locals think it might be the work of some antisocial people.
Again, many people thinks that these are condoms of any company and maybe, it fell somehow while being taken down the road. It was not removed later.
But whatever the reason for the spread of condoms in the area, why aren’t the police or the administration taking action? No one can find the answer to that question.
