Two Terrorist Attacks witnessed in Jammu Kashmir, India

Two persons were Killed at Jammu & Kashmir states of India in two separate terrorist attacks which occurred within a span of half an hour.

The Daily Vendor Newspaper learnt that a policeman was martyred during a gun duel with terrorists along with a civilian who had also lost his life. 

A joint army and police force have started a search operation to find the terrorists.

Kashmir police said that today militants attacked Bijbehara police officer Mohammad Ashraf in Anantnag district. The police office was shot multiple times. The terrorists fled after the attack and the severely injured police personnel was rushed to Srinagar Hospital. However, the doctors could not save him. 

Meanwhile, the terrorists have also attacked Srinagar and opened fire on a man at Merjanpora in Idgah area under Safakdal police station of the city. The man named Rauf Ahmed died on the spot. 

Police have launched an operation to find the attackers. In June, the army killed two militants, including Lashkar commander Nadeem Abrar in Kashmir. He was involved in multiple attacks and killings on security forces in the Kashmir Valley. Earlier in May, militants clashed with security forces in the Kokernag area of Anantnag district in the Union Territory. Three militants were killed in the clashes.

The Indian Army is determined to break the Lashkar’s waist in the Kashmir Valley and uproot the roots of terrorism. Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) vice president Omar Abdullah condemned the twin terrorist attacks and extended his support and condolences to the other family members of the decease.
