Two Robbers Arrested In Dollars case 

LANDIKOTAL: Police arrested two persons allegedly involved in dollars’ robbry case and recovered 4.3 million rupees from their possession, police said on Friday.

Sdation House Officer of Landikotal police station Muhammad Akbar Afridi told reporters that they had arrested two of the robbers’ gang members. He said on January 31,robbers in a car had looted traders at Landikotal bypass road and snatched US dollars 319000 from trader Fawad Shinwari. 

He said the FIR lodged was followed and arrested two persons identified as Tawab Khan,resident of Khugakhel Shinwari and Wahab Khan,resudent of Mukhtarkhel Shinwari were arrested and recovered 4.3 million rupees from their possesions. He said on the identification of the arrested persons the other gang members would soon be arrested. 

 *Protest sit-in continued on second day:*  Thousands of Landikotal residents continued their protest on second day sgainst the power outage.They had blocked the road at Charwazgay Chowk and hoisted black flags round the sit-in camp. A number of talks round held with the protesters and officials visited the sit-in camp but they failed to convince them. Protesters had also cut off the heavy electricity supply line at Charwagat. Tesco officials said they could give only fpur hours electricity to the residents while Landikotal residents demand at least six hours power supply every day. 

Hundreds of loaded and empty trucks were seen stranded on the roadside in Landikotal.
