Two children were knocked down when a tanker load of petrol fell along AYA-Kugbo-Nyanya road.
An eyewitness, who spoke to our correspondent, said the incident happened around 3pm.
The affected children have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.
The incident caused serious traffic lock along the axis.
Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Directorate of Road Traffic Service (DRTS) (VIO), FCT and Federal Fire Service, Police, NEMA, FEMA and other personnel were on ground to ensure that the road is cleared.
As at when filing this report, residents who were stranded due to the accident, are lamenting and pleading for quick evacuation of the petrol tanker for easy passage.
