As insecurity, particularly kidnapping and banditry continued to hit some states in the Northern part of Nigeria, Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, the 18th Emir of Zazzau in kaduna state has suggested solution to the menace.
Monitored by Daily Vendor Newspaper correspondent in kaduna, while speaking in BBC Hausa Service, the monarch observed that the best solution is to turn to Allah and repent.
Also while calling on those behind insecurity and banditry to repent and give peace a chance Bamalli, appealed to teeming Nigerian citizens to continue to support government in the fight against the menace.
Bamalli who spoke ahead of his one year anniversary on the stool, disclosed that they had a meeting with northern governors over insecurity that had been bedeviling the region. Adding that it is a problem that affects everybody.
His words: ”We talked about what is happening in Sokoto, not Zazzau Emirate alone, it is widespreading to Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna, Niger, up to Nasarawa.”
