Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has made special arrangements that would ensure smooth conduct of Transition Placement Examination (TPE) in Anambra State, especially in the hard to reach areas.
Speaking through Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, during a meeting with the Zonal and Area Education Officers, the Governor who made special provisions for Supervisors and Invigilators who serve in those areas, warned against involvement in examination malpractices.
He appreciated the officers for holding forth despite the hard times, calling on them to ensure this year’s Transition Placement Examination was a success.
“On no account should any body without business with the examination, be found around the examination hall. Parents who brought their children for the examination must leave through the gate once the children are dropped,” he warned.
Speaking on behalf of the officers, Area Education Officer of Ihiala Mrs Uche Okereke, said the advent of Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh as the Commissioner for Education made service in the education sector pleasurable.
The Officers promised to work hard for the achievement of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s mandate in education.
