Four traders were killed by terrorists in the Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State on Sunday.
Sources claimed that the victims, who were from Zandam village, were going to a market close to the local government headquarters when they ran into the terrorists.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Katsina State Command, Gambo Isah(SP) has confirmed the incident.
He revealed that the terrorists shot five of the victims , adding that four died on the spot.
Isah said, “Yes, the terrorists shot at five traders. Four died on the spot, while one was injured and rushed to a hospital in Katsina for medical attention.”
Another source claimed that the incident caused fear among people already at the market.
