Board member of the group, Ezenwa Nwagwu stated this on Tuesday in Awka during a post-election reflection meeting with leaders of Civil Society Organizations. Anambra poll: We’ll expose manipulated results – YIAGA warns

Election Observer group, Yiaga Africa on Friday threatened to expose announced results of Saturday's governorship election in Anambra state that did not correspond with those of the polling units. The group urged the public, political parties and candidates to have confidence in the official results of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that fall within within its estimated range. Anambra election: 76,104 electorates may not vote if …YIAGA

Election observer group, Yaga Africa has lamented delay in distribution of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to registered voters in Anambra state by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) few days to the gubernatorial election. The group said a total of 76,104 voters who got registered during the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) in the state could be disenfranchised if the reason for the delay was not addressed. Election Observer Group, YIAGA Africa has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state to publish information to enable eligible voters locate the new polling units as well as how to get their permanent voter cards for seamless process. Accelerate passage of electoral amendment bill – YIAGA tells NASS

Election observer group, YIAGA Africa has urged the National Assembly to accelerate passage of electoral amendment bill legalising the deployment of technology for accreditation, voting and transmission of election results. YIAGA Africa targets 548 observers for Anambra poll

An election observer group, YIAGA Africa, on Wednesday said it would deploy at least 548 individuals to observe the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State. It said the observers would be distributed in pairs to a representative random sample of 250 polling units in all the local government areas of the state. YIAGA Africa, a Civil Society Organisation has expressed worry over slow pace of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) at various centers in Anambra State. It attributed the ugly development to internet connectivity, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to fix the challenges.
