West Bengal Government moves to stop protesting junior doctors

The West Bengal government has enacted the Epidemic Act to keep medical services normal.  The state government also disclosed that the internship period of the doctors who will be absent from work will be extended by one day.  Accordingly, the internship period of 192 protesting junior doctors has been extended by 13 days. West Bengal records 61 cases of Coronavirus, 13 deaths in 24hrs

In the Indian state West Bengal, the Coronavirus situation is under control, but the virus has not yet been fully eradicated. Therefore, the state has issued multiple guidelines to prevent the spread of infection during the festival season.  In the midst of all this, there is a slight relief in the statistics shown by the health department. Supreme Court issues notice to Center on West Bengal plea against CBI probe

The Supreme Court of India on Tuesday sent a notice to the Center related to the Indian state West Bengal’s Post poll violence case.  A division bench of the apex court headed by Justice Binit Saran and Justice Aniruddha Basu passed the order. The Matix Group's flagship investment is a 3 million ton per annum (MTPA) fertilizer plant in West Bengal in two phases.   In Phase 1, Matix has set up a 1.3 MTPA single stream Ammonia Urea plant with integrated facilities.
