A special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, has given an insight into the court hearing of the IPOB leader on Wednesday. According to Ejimakor, the court stated, “That Mazi Kanu be given maximum comfort possible in the detention facility. Trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has commenced at the Federal High Court in Abuja. The Daily Vendor Newspaper reported that operatives of the Department of State Security produced the IPOB leader in Court this morning to continue his trial. Kanu is being tried before Justice Binta Nyako of the FHC, Abuja over charges of treasonable felony and terrorism.
