Sunday loss: Man U legend Roy Keane blames 2 players

“I can’t believe how bad Manchester United have been,” says Keane

The echoes of Sunday loss of Manchester United to Manchester City has continue to reverberate as Man U legend, Roy Keane specifically slammed midfielders Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen after the Red Devils’ embarrassing 6-3 defeat.

Keane noted that the duo were sloppy in their passes with their lackluster performances contributing to the heavy fall at the Etihad.

Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, both 22-year-olds, scored three goals each to condemn their city rivals to their second heaviest defeat under Erik ten Hag.

Antony’s solo effort and Anthony Martial’s brace salvaged some lost pride for United but could not stop Pep Guardiola’s side from bagging all three points.

Bernado Silva and Kevin De Bruyne controlled the midfield and made Eriksen and McTominay look as if they were not on the pitch as they comfortably kept possession and created chances.

“…it’s been easy for Man City, as poor as Man United have been, their passing has been sloppy, there are gaps everywhere, McTominay and Eriksen have been pulled everywhere. I can’t believe how bad Manchester United have been.

“It could get a lot worse, You’re Man United, you can’t get too embarrassed.”
