The DAILY VENDOR Newspaper gathered that the suspect confessed that she administered the substance to the child to make him become sick, so that her husband would spend money for treatment in the hospital, claiming that her action was due to her husband’s inability to care for her needs and that of her daughter.

The child was however confirmed dead by a doctor in the hospital and his corpse deposited in the mortuary for autopsy.
