The Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr. Paschal Agbodike has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the on-going massive road construction and other infrastructural development in the state.
Agbodike, member representing Ihiala Two Constituency and member-elec for Ihiala Federal Constituency said the move has given the state a face lift, assuring him of continiuos support to his administration.
He pledged his commitment in tackling insecurity, attract employment for youths in his constituency, as well as ensure his people, state and region get their own share of national cake.
“Im going to the House of Representatives to arrest insecurity in Ihiala Federal Constituency, get youths in my Constituency gainfully employed, stop insecurity in the South East and enure that Anambra State,Ihiala Federal Constituency and the South get their own share of the national cake,” he said.
While felicitating with people of his Constituent and state on this year’s Easter celebration, the lawmaker urged them not to lose sight of the lessons of love and sacrifice which are the hallmarks of Easter celebration.
He commended religious leaders in the state for being in the vanguard of inculcating morality in individuals which has helped in building a better society for all.
He said, “As we commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I urge christians to consider the love Jesus Christ lavished on humanity through his death and resurrection by extending alms giving, hands of love and generosity to the downtrodden around them.
“I also urge them to use the season as a period to reflect on their individual and collective roles in promoting and sustaining love, peace and harmony in Ihiala Two Constituency and Anambra State at large.”
