Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has congratulated Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige, CON, (Onwa), on the occasion of his 71st birthday anniversary
He also congratulated Chief Willie Obiano, (Akpoduedike Aguleri), former Governor of Anambra State, on the occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary.
According to a statement by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Soludo described Ngige as a worthy son of Anambra whose legacy of steadfast service to the nation and humanity are deserving of commendation.
He said, “Dr Chris Ngige was the former Governor of Anambra State from May 29, 2003 to March 17, 2006 and was the immediate past Minister of Labour and Productivity and a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
“Ngige is a worthy son of Anambra State whose legacy of steadfast service to the nation and humanity are deserving of commendation
“Former Governor’s contributions to the development of Anambra State remain equally commendable
“On behalf of the government and good people of Anambra State, I wish him long life and good health as he celebrates his 71st birthday.”
Also, Governor Soludo, in another statement, described Obiano’s contributions to the development and progress of Anambra State as very commendable.
The statement reads, “Governor Soludo said as the Governor of Anambra State from March 17, 2014 to March 17, 2022, Chief Willie Obiano’s contributions to the development and progress of Anambra State have been very commendable.
“The Governor also extolled Chief Obiano’s resolute commitment to democracy and good governance
“On behalf of the government and good people of Anambra State, I wish him continued good health and more glorious years ahead.”
