Following the drama which occurred on Thursday at the Edo State House of Assembly, it has been discovered that offices within the complex are presently in appalling state, having been vandalized by suspected thugs.
About 17 lawmakers, including 14 lawmakers-elect, whose seats were previously declared vacant for not appearing on inauguration day, had allegedly impeached the speaker, Frank Okiye, and his deputy, Roland Asoro.
The current condition of the State Assembly as sighted by the DAILY VENDOR, shows the facility in a pitiable state as several offices within the complex is in ruins, with some of their entrance doors broken and some essential files carted away.
