‘The flag-off campaign witnessed a mammoth crowd of supporters and SDP faithful’
Hope is now on the way for citizens of the Okigwe South Federal Constituency as the Social Democratic Party (SDP)candidate for the 2023 election, Sir Ikenna Chukwuocha has promised to address the rising unemployment, youth restiveness, insecurity, scholarship, empowerment, poor condition of the road network, education and healthcare amongst other life a transforming issues in the constituency.
Describing rural development and transformation as his cardinal focus, Chukwuocha who spoke in an interview during the flag off ceremony of his campaign yesterday said the citizens of Ehime Mbano, Obowo and Ihitte Uboma Local Govt Areas -that make up the Okigwe South Federal Constituency have been in need of a passionate leader who is eager, has the drive and spirit to transform the areas so as to uplift their living standard.
The SDP candidate said his heart is always with them, especially for their welfare, safety and peace. That it’s why he put himself forward to go represent the federal constituency.
Chukwuocha assured them that he intends to use the institutionality of the National Assembly to touch as many lives.
At the courtesy visit to the Eze Ernest Iwunze, the Ebichi Two of Nsu, the traditional rulers of the area prayed and blessed him for the victory of Chukwuocha because they have known his burning desire to uplift the area from its numerous challenges.
The flag off campaign which took place at the Central School, Nsu in Ehime Mbano Council area witnessed a mammoth crowd of supporters and party faithful.
Mrs Chinyere Ibezi who led her group from Abuja assured of their unalloyed support till victory was achieved.
The SDP chairman, Ehime Mbano, Mrs Nneka Chilaka said the candidate is a man after the heart of the electorate because he has remained a friendly and passionate candidate they all know
