There are strong indications that the suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, might be sacked anytime soon.
The revelation came as the presidential panel probing him has recommended his replacement.
The panel made this submission to President Muhammadu Buhari in its latest report.
In the report, President Muhammadu Buhari was advised to sack and replace Magu, the suspended acting chairman of the EFCC.
The latest recommendation was made by the presidential panel led by a retired jurist, and former President of theAppeal Court, Justice Ayo Salami, in a fresh report submitted to President Buhari.
Foremost among accusations made against Magu, is the allegation that he has failed to declare his assets since he was appointed in 2015.
The probe panel made the submission in line with the president’s directive to regularly submit reports to him.
