Royal blessings as Chidoka, Ekwunife, other, storm Nnobi

…as Chidoka reiterates the need for the community to turn out en masse to cast their votes for PDP

The lawmaker representing the good people of Idemili North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obinna Chidoka on Thursday, joined the Senator representing Anambra Central in the red chamber, Uche Ekwunife on a ward tour to Nnobi community in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The entourage first paid a visit to His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nick Obi of Nnobi and his cabinet members. The igwe who prayed for the victory of the candidates owing to their people oriented representations and projects attracted to the community gave them his royal blessings. 

In his speech, the monarch urged the lawmakers to use their wealth of experiences as ranking members of the national Assembly to attract more dividends of democracy when re-elected to the National Assembly. 

The entourage headed for the Ezi-Ehuru hall where they were roundly welcomed by members of the community who trooped out in their numbers.

Hon. Chidoka while addressing the gathering reeled out his numerous completed and ongoing projects in the community, some of which include but not limited to two electric transformers, two solar powered Boreholes, solar powered street lights, empowerment trainings with take off capitals, loans. 

Hon. Chidoka reiterated the need for the community to turn out en masse to cast their votes for PDP.

The lawmaker in his appreciation speech promised to do more with the continued support of the constituents.

Also in the entourage was the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Idemili South House of Assembly candidate, Ekene Aghasiefo who promised to lead a people oriented representation if voted to the state assembly.

Sen. Ekwunife outlined her  achievements in the community and urged the electorates to turn out en masse during the February 25Presidential and National Assembly elections to vote for PDP candidates.

The community unanimously resolved to re-elect the two lawmakers back to the national Assembly insisting that as ranking members of the House of Representatives and Senate they both stood the chance of becoming the Senate President and House of Representatives Speaker respectively.
